We are excited to announce that Eyeson is sponsoring and actively attending the European Defense Tech Hackathon, taking place September 25–28, 2025, in London (UK) as part of London Defence Tech Week.

This event brings together 200+ hackers, engineers, and innovators from across Europe and beyond to accelerate defense innovation. Participants will collaborate on projects with the potential to save lives in real-world operations.

Why We’re Joining

At Eyeson, our mission is to provide AI-ready video networking infrastructure that enables defense and public safety teams to connect, fuse, and act on mission-critical data. Sponsoring this hackathon is a natural fit – it’s where cutting-edge technology meets urgent operational challenges.

The Hackathon Format

Participants can work on prepared challenges or bring their own ideas. Projects will receive feedback from mentors with operational and technical expertise, and promising solutions will be positioned for deployment after the event.

Challenge Track Highlight

One of the main tracks, presented by STARK, focuses on Mission-Effective Software for Unmanned Systems. The challenge covers three areas:

• Tactical Execution – software for navigation in GPS-denied environments, dynamic mission planning, and target recognition.
• Responsible Autonomy – human-machine teaming with transparent, accountable autonomy under tactical rules of engagement.
• Unmanned Group Coordination – real-time collaboration and adaptive behavior among unmanned systems.
