The GoSiliconValley Initiative 2019/20 notified that eyeson is part of it. The Austrian Economic Chamber 🇦🇹, organizes this event every year. This year it is time for eyeson to celebrate the nomination 🎉 . Out of 80 start-up companies only 16 were chosen to take part in this journey. But how did eyeson manage to get into this exciting program?
Well, we had to write a detailed and meaningful application. Afterwards, our famous Marie Williere prepared and presented a pitch to a jury consisting of:
- Elisabeth Fullerton (Angel & Social Impact Investor)
- Rick Rasmussen (UC Berkeley, Concordia Ventures)
- Stefan Nagel (Round2Capital)
- Steve Austin (Founders Space)
A week later we received the email that we were among the chosen ones. The GoSiliconValley Initiative is a 3-month accelerator-program in Silicon Valley, San Francisco. It is THE hub for all kinds of technology companies to expand and grow their business. For the video conferencing provider eyeson is this simply the perfect working environment. eyeson is able to participate in the program for a 3 month period from April 2019 to March 2020.
The internationalization project go-international of the Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs helps Austrian start-ups and SMEs to enter the US market. They assist in terms of searching for investors and strategic partners. Therefore, being part of this program is a big chance for eyeson.
The team is excited to spend three months in San Francisco as technology is our passion at eyeson. We are excited about meeting new people and acquiring possible B2B clients. Additionally, we look forward to strengthen our existing partnerships with Slack, Facebook, Zendesk, Talkdesk, and many more.
